1. Who we are

Seshule is operated by EvolveUX. EvolveUX is the data controller for personal data processed through the Seshule service. Contact: support@seshule.com.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, authentication identifiers.
  • Business profile: business name, session price and duration, rewards settings.
  • Client records (entered by stylists): client name and phone number used to send invitations and, when a booking is confirmed, one-time SMS booking confirmations.
  • Booking data: appointment times, visit history, loyalty points.
  • Support communications: messages you send to us.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, log data.

3. SMS / text messaging program

Program name: Seshule Booking Confirmations. Program description: Seshule sends transactional booking confirmation text messages to clients whose stylist has invited them to the Service and who have opted in to receive text messages during sign-up.

What we collect for the messaging program: the client's mobile phone number (entered by the stylist who invited them) and the client's opt-in consent (captured via a checkbox on the Seshule sign-up page reached from the stylist's invite link).

How we use it: the mobile number and opt-in consent are used solely to deliver one-time transactional booking confirmation SMS messages through our SMS delivery provider (Twilio). They are not used for marketing or promotional messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent collected by Seshule are never sold, rented, leased, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Sharing with subcontractors that support the Service (for example, Twilio for SMS delivery) is limited to what is necessary to send the confirmation message itself.

Message frequency: messages are sent only when a booking is confirmed, typically no more than one message per booking. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opt-out: reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. For help, reply HELP or contact support@seshule.com.

4. How we use it

  • Provide the Service (contract performance): accounts, bookings, loyalty, and SMS confirmations.
  • Security and fraud prevention (legitimate interests).

  • Legal compliance (legal obligation).

5. Who we share data with

  • Paddle — our Merchant of Record — handles payments, subscription management, tax compliance, and invoicing.

  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
  • Authorities where required by law.

6. Retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as long as needed to provide the Service. When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymised. You can request deletion at any time.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to or withdraw consent for processing. To exercise these rights email support@seshule.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security in our database — to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure; we work to improve our practices continuously.

9. International transfers

Data may be processed outside your country by our providers. Where required we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

10. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We do not use advertising cookies.

11. Changes

We may update this notice; material changes will be communicated in the Service.
